I hadn't used an SD card reader before since I never needed much memory. For this project, I decided to include one to learn about them and provide a fast way to update mood information. I planned to create a spreadsheet and enter new data, then reinsert the card. The first problem I encountered was that I buried the card reader under a few PCBs, so I ordered an SD card extension cable. The next issue was that the screen's demo code didn't have anything for the card reader. I tried Arduino's tutorial code, but it wasn't helpful, so I hunted around and found a distributor with the necessary library. I placed a few TXT and CSV files on the card and a folder, and the library was able to open the comma-delimited file and show the directory.
