2025-08-18 (M) Critical Affection: Cells at Work

We talked about the anime Cells at Work. Amanda and I picked the show because we loved the original, and Sarah watched most of it. Sarah's problem with the show was that it was formulaic, which was something Amanda and I agreed on, but Sarah did not care for how fluffy the show was. Amanda and I enjoyed the light-hearted approach to educating people about body processes while keeping it easy to watch. Everyone enjoyed the platelet characters who appeared as young children in giant t-shirts and baseball caps. Sarah made a sticker design based on a team leader, which Amanda won in the quiz that I made.
