Kevin Davis came back, and he wanted to talk about Primate (2025). We thought he enjoyed the movie, but it turned out that he wanted a therapy session where we had all suffered through it. He got it! None of us enjoyed it as a movie. We all picked out things that were all right, but overall, it was trash. If you are the kind of person who enjoys getting together in a group and pointing out schlock and nonsensical parts of a movie, this is a fine candidate. Fred pointed out that this is the kind of movie teenagers attend in pairs to prove they are a little edgy and fool around while the movie plays. None of these were reasons we wanted to watch it, so view at your own peril, and listen to the Critical Affection episode to hear what the movie did poorly.
