Sometimes I write my journal entries pretty early in the morning and I'm not entirely with it. Today's was originally written in present tense and I can't figure out why I did that. My story isn't written in present tense so I wasn't carrying that over or anything. Whatever the case, when I typed it all up I wrote it in past tense like my entries should be.

Enough background.

Motor and Head started checking out the flight core but Head was overwhelmed when he touched it. He is stunned for a time until Motor calmed him down but unintentionally turned his t-shirt into a straight jacket and freaked himself out. Head came back to his senses but Motor was very shaken. Heather was prompted to talk to him. Head gave some tough love and revealed about their deceased father and how early Motor's power started. Motor was calmed but drives off to be alone. The remaining four talked about the flight core four a couple minutes then called motor who wound up at the Unnamed Cafe. They all met up there and the owner brought them a barbecue-style lunch after which they went to Heather's hotel to relax.
