Stress on Dawson continued when The Immortal arrived hours ahead of time while Dawson was stranded in his hotel room. Rebecca asked about what he was working on but he was suspicious, secretive, and hinted that he was doing something illegal so she left. Dawson became lonelier in his hotel room and felt guilty for treating her badly.

Dawson spent the morning figuring out how to access a secretive blog through the Tor network which is run by a blogger with omniscient Charged ability but could also be an iteration of the Patient One. Jason contacts the blogger to offer his services in helping Shana. The easy solution was to make a rescue attempt for the abducted Shana but the damsel-in-distress cliché is unappealing so instead Shana escaped on her own.
