2017-05-04 (Th) 2 Cyborgs and a Microphone

Tim and I are half way through our series on immortality. Last time we talked about cryonics, which may, someday, fall into the category of a venue for people reaching immortality. If you already heard that episode then you know what I mean.

This time we’re talking about the idea of brain uploading and digital brain emulation. Maybe we’re on the verge of creating a human brain in a computer. That would be exciting but we haven’t gotten the formula right yet. It is conceivable that we could see the advent of human uploads in our lifetimes. In fact, the idea makes me a bit giddy.
