2018-12-21 (F) 2 Cyborgs and a Microphone EPISODE 057

Tim's obsession with audiobooks led us to a cyborg book review. Sci-fi books are a great source of inspiration for grinders, and it hasn't been watered down by Hollywood for general consumption. We reviewed The Quantum Magician by Derek Künsken. There is no magic, per se, outside of the usual artistic leeway for imagination.

Editing this episode was not the usual routine since it was done with a different computer and different hardware. I operated an off-hand keyboard, the G13, and my trusty programmable mouse, a G600. In the past, I used standard keyboard shortcuts and hotkeys, which worked well enough, but the keyboard allowed me to keep those shortcuts to a single key and perform macros. This made the editing process more fluid. Even though it was a longer-than-usual episode, it was more comfortable to edit.
