Today was another frustrating day as I investigated why some notes were playing at the wrong volume, some notes were playing when they should have been silent, and some were silent when they should have been playing. The problems seem to be linked to the way the program handles the unique playing mode. Essentially, the new part of the program writes a bunch of instrument settings then turns it back over to the old program to turn that into notes. The old part of the program has unnecessary calculations that are throwing wrenches into the new code so I will have to streamline that process.
