I wanted to try more with the mirror because it was wasteful to put a fresh layer of tape on the printer bed for every build. My hand told me it was getting hot enough, but it wouldn't adhere well. I tried softening the glue with some water before a print. I tried a minimal layer of glue. I tried leaving some glue after a print but applying more, and that worked well enough.

Not all of my prints came out perfect, truthfully, none were ideal, but I intentionally placed the tensioning bead to one side, instead of the top, since I knew my bottom face would keep shrinking toward the end. Despite the imperfections, I kept printing, and it seemed that more glue was better than less.
