Road Pollution Doesn’t Just Come From Exhaust
I heard about a group from London called The Tyre Collective, making a device that would recollect tire rubber as it wore off moving vehicles. Each wheel gets outfitted with a futuristic-looking collar containing electrostatically charged copper plates. Ejected rubber, which has a charge, sticks to the surfaces while road debris floats past.
