My newest revision of the connectors used two skewers to make them long enough to reach all the board letters. I only swapped out the parts that connected to the servo and one of the bearing connectors. I left the other rods alone since they weren't driven and didn't experience torque. The results were excellent. The puck could read almost everywhere on the board, except the "YES" and "NO" in the corner.

In the next round of improvements, I may use long single rods for the two segments connected to the puck and point to letters closer to the servos, which will come in handy when I swap out this font plate for the mirrored version.
