Show page on Twin Cities Plus dot ORG

Session one recording was done. A lot of technical problems plagued the first show. Plans were made to start at 1700 but a poor quality mixer had to be swapped out so the start time was delayed for two hours. Then there was another thirty minute delay to finish eating dinner. Once the audio equipment was in place and functioning there were computer problems where a computer wouldn’t establish a stable connection. It was restarted, which took abnormally long, and it wouldn’t recognize any audio input or output including the built-in speakers. After another restart it worked but the delays cost another forty-five minutes.

Recording wasn’t started until 2030. The session went smoothly despite one microphone sounding tinny. The audio will need to be edited to add music to the intro and outro. Unnecessary dialogue and mistakes will also be edited out. Rerecording the tinny audio may also be an option. Raw audio measured twenty minutes so if half of that is usable dialogue it should be an acceptable audiocast.
