2016-06-11 (Sa) UGO Podcast Interview for Charged: DesertIrish

My friend Sarah White was recently interview with her team for their work on a comic book called Super!. The exclamation mark is part of the title. They were interviewed by a podcast called Unapologetic Geek Out (UGO) which is a podcast centered on geeky culture. I don’t think the subject needs elaboration so I will say that the hosts bring a lot of good personality to the podcast.

The interviewer was Nick, their resident unapologist. Their format was a lot different than my podcast and Nick was a lot of fun to talk with and Sarah is always a treat. Their podcast contains coarse language and, if it made the cut, we did discuss the hypothetical title of a porno based on some of my implants. It really was fun.

I hope to learn from the interview and bring some of the energy I had with Nick and Sarah to 2 Cyborgs and a Microphone. In the meantime, the podcast can be found at their site but here’s a link to the exact session. The interview starts at about the one hour mark but Nick gave us the intro as well so listen to the first minute to hear one of my classic puns.

During the interview we discussed Charged: DesertIrish. I got to express some of my feelings about the story and SURPRISE, Sarah White has secretly been doing sketches for a graphic novel or web serial. I hope you are at least half as excited about that as I am. Give it a listen and see what Charged is about if you haven’t already read or listened to the story. Otherwise check out UGO because they’re fun to listen to.
