2016-07-29 (F) 2 Cyborgs and a Microphone EPISODE

Editing for Episode 005 was completed. As usual it can be found on the Show Page. This episode was severely trimmed to keep it reasonably timed. Keeping on subject was also a problem but the tangents were entertaining so they were kept while some pertinent information was cut. A short excerpt toward the end was also kept as a blooper since it was kind of funny and less than three seconds long.

More and more personality is coming out during the episode as less and less planning is done. Experience is also making the show more enjoyable to perform and hopefully more fun to listen. As the editor I have trouble telling if the episode will be any good since I am engrossed in the minutiae instead of the big picture. When I finish editing I should listen to it from the beginning but I don’t. By the end I do not want to hear my own voice anymore and it is often late at night. This final step is usually left for Tim Shank, my co-host, who can listen with fresh ears.

This episode was about wearables. Tim and I both use smart watches but we talk about some of the other, less common, wearables on the market. We diverge a bit into the gray area between wearables and implantables since we both have a vested interest in implantables.
