Impossibly Huge Depth of Focus in Microscope Photographs

After a short period away from the keyboard, [The Thought Emporium] pointed me toward two great videos about microscopy. The first was about getting clear photographs through a process called focus stacking. The resulting pictures were pretty inspiring, hence the great image at the top of the article. The whole video has lots of stunning photos and a clear explanation of how to do the process with Adobe products.
