Operators, things like buttons, switches, and potentiometers, which are physically moved by a user may need extra support to keep from twisting the entire device. Anti-rotation pins were standard on the variable resistors are shown below, but holes for them were not drilled and had to be added.

Some of the holes for the switches and buttons had to be expanded. Once all the holes were drilled to the correct size, everything was mounted and tightened in place. The wiring harnesses made yesterday were removed for this step since the wires would have gotten in the way. Hollow shaft nut drivers made easy work of the tightening.
