More instructions of the 24LRFL01 modules were examined and tried. Information was successfully transmitted and received, but only the data type supplied with the example would work. This was a problem with my code on the receiving end which would try to interpret an integer as a character, and the data appeared nonsensical.

Once the data type issue was sorted, there were other issues with communication which was tracked down to malfunctioning modules. Two of the radios would not receive data. I had four boards in stock, and each was placed on the transmitting and receiving Arduino, and a pair of them would not relay incoming data. They were marked with a red "R".
