The program was now playing from an array that stored the necessary information for each note, including velocity, time to turn on, duration, instrument, and note. It was time to play more than one channel, with more than one instrument at a time. First, I added the code to pseudo-randomly select an instrument, then it selected a pitch offset, of up to an octave higher or lower than the main note. The play frequency, which determined the percent chance any given note would play, was generated as a number between ten and one-hundred. A value of ten meant that one in ten notes would play, while 100 would play every time. These changes made it sound a lot fuller than a single instrument.
