2020-07-20 (M) InCompass

Yesterday, I made a 2D layout for the panel I am modeling today. After sketching in CAD, I found and fixed an arrangement issue, but I thought I would have more use of the drawing. Instead, I did all of the 3D modeling with only a few glances at the layout.

The layout puts all the parts on a single plane to improve the Bluetooth reception by uncovering the antenna. Each element has a recess made to the size of the component. My printer was too small to print it with the tolerances I wanted, so I had to thin the borders a bit. I may have to thicken the bottom for support or make the rest of the enclosure in parts.
