I was going to make a trip to the store for some flexible light-gauge wires to reconnect my boards, but my girlfriend suggested that I use some test lead wires I already had in stock. The conductors were all long enough, and I even implemented color-coded insulation, but I could have kept them a little tidier. Once connected, I had a communication issue, which felt like when I tried a different microcontroller board. I tried uploading the code again, but I kept getting the same error where I couldn't see the IMU. Fortunately, I found a scrap of wire between the SDA and SCL pins on the Arduino, and when I cleared the short, it worked again. I taped the battery to plastic because the PCBs stayed in place without any help, and now I can wear it again.
