2017-10-17 (Tu) Charged: DesertIrish

If you're not familiar with this book, read this otherwise you'll just be reading spoilers below.

The group gets two complimentary hotel rooms but they are nothing special. Heather, who was a little tipsy, wanted to bring everyone to Fremont Street for the festivities. It was a Friday night after all.

Vani brings them there, without much discretion, and Heather pulls stoic Motor into the crowd for some dancing. Dawson and Vani go back to their hotel room, after publically making out awhile, and they have some graphic sex.

While they're recovering from the sex, Vani hears her phone and reads messages that Heather was frantic after Motor's pocket was picked in the party. She immediately picks up Motor and Vani where they separated and Heather is furious with everyone. Motor, who knows her best, stays out of the line of fire but Vani is savagely attacked by Heather's words.

Heather composes herself and when the edge disappeared she made up with Vani.

As a character, Heather is my favorite. She is believable to me because she's based on women I've known and she adds some needed turmoil to the group. I enjoy writing her even when she is kind of a heinous person.

Charged

To do:
  • Describe a reality TV show which demonstrates the powers of contestants.
  • Describe a civil trial where a Charged person sues for the right to have a second identity but the case turns against him into a vilification of vigilantism.
