Jason came into the lime light when he showed a sense of humor which has only come up a few times before. This time it was even more overt and Heather's reaction was suitably extreme. After a hug with Dawson and Vani, Heather comments on the scandalous embrace to which Jason responded that he was "fully erect." He said it in his usual no-nonsense way of speaking which caused a spit-take from Heather. Even Vani comments on the humor which she compliments.
Vani brings Jason home but Dawson comes with on their way to her house. This was Dawson's first time at Jason's place, which was actually his parents' place. He notices that the things in their living room were in good repair, naturally, but so old that they weren't worth any money.
