If you're not familiar with this book, read this otherwise you'll just be reading spoilers below.

Dawson captains the shipbuilders to track down the ONYX car with the men who killed Motor. He assumed Vani would search with her powers but she insisted on bringing the whole ship so Head, who no longer wanted to be called that, could identify it himself. Vani keeps them a good distance from the busy highways and on the second most likely route, they find the car, identified by an ugly green streak the color of Motor and Head’s van.
