My laser modules arrived, so I mounted them on the socket row for power. I added a voltage connection between the switch terminals to have two active at once. The units came with a focusing lens, but they required assembly, so I tested one without the attachment. The lens seemed to pick up nearly any object within 50cm and light-colored within 100cm. Without the lens, things had to be less than 30cm to get a response. Testing was simple because an onboard LED indicated a reflection reading.
