2022-09-01 (Th) SkateSail New swivel

The bearings I made from CNC machine parts seemed clumsy, but I started with them because I didn't see a better solution. I continued searching online and found some swivels intended for boat anchor chains. The removable peg was 8mm, so I would have to drill out the threaded portion.
Double clevis swivels

I don't keep the most expensive drill bits, but I had a TiN-coated set and annihilated the tip cutting through this stainless steel. I worked up a sweat as I constantly cooled the piece and bit, applied cutting oil, and pressed into it with both arms. I will have to buy more bits suited to the job.
