I will record the revised lines at a more convenient time, so I kept pushing forward with the editing. There was a line where Marigold meows from inside a cupboard, so I researched how to make it sound muffled. The trick was applying a low-pass filter, which worked well with Audacity's default settings. Whenever I came to a chapter break, I noted the time and wrote it in the script. Whenever I had a conversation between two characters, usually Ness and someone else, I moved their tracks next to each other to visualize their synchronization better.
