2023-09-07 (Th) GrinderCompassMKII Last frame

This project phase is nearing its end, whether by completion or exasperation. If this frame and equipment do not work as hoped, I will sideline things while I gather my ideas for the next steps.

I took what I learned from using the beads as string positioners and shrunk the design to make a frame I could turn into a wearable. The beads were held between a couple of laser-cut plywood pieces, and when the holes faced the same direction, the unit looked like a tiny perturbed robot face.
String positioner

I cut a jig to form a wide frame. I used long coupler nuts to hold the spinner but could shorten them. The string positioner used a standoff, so I can use the threaded bottom to mount this inside an enclosure.
Hopefully that is enough mass
