Sonar in Your Hand
Reading hand position has been a difficult task and many people have tried. The devices range from clunky wearables to desk-mounted IR sensors. To date, this has been the least intrusive wearable I have seen. At the expensive of the device being pretty low-profile, it has limited reading capabilities. It can detect the ASL positions for one through ten so that holds its own possibilities.
