2022-01-25 (Tu) EWC_Panel Tracking memory problems

I wasn't generating new melodies, but I narrowed it down to my function called playMIDINote(), which stops old notes, starts new ones, and does the same for subsequent notes if there are chords. I disabled the parts that send serial signals, but that didn't solve my problem. While looking through the code, I found an unrelated bug where I would enter an infinite loop when playing chords, so I fixed that. The screen still froze the program, so I enabled debugging mode, which ignored the screen, and I could still see my serial output. I found the problem had to do with the melodies[][] array, which it often is, so I reduced the maximum number of notes from forty in each set to ten. I turned off debugging mode, and when I booted up the system, my screen functioned, and I saw MIDI data on the serial port.
