2023-05-31 (W) KeyBoardolier Soldering keyswitches

I needed more time to think about the keyboard's hardware layout, so I started soldering the keyswitches. I learned plenty from the Care Bear Keyboard about diode orientation and bussing, but it was a lot of tedious work. I did not use a common connector on the vertical connections and opted to solder the diode leads to their neighbors. On the right side of the picture, you can see where I added copper wire between leads, but on the left side, I used components with longer conductors that could reach without help. I must form the wires to fit inside the case and insulate them against the aluminum structure.
