I cut the plywood side panels on the laser but forgot to account for the short faceplate. There was a six-millimeter discrepancy, so I updated the drawing and cut one side before committing to a pair again. I could have trimmed the existing piece with a jigsaw. The test piece fit snuggly, so I cut a second unit and confirmed they both worked. I applied black paint to alternate stripes, let the paint dry overnight, and painted the yellow lines in the morning.
