I have a list of my Press STUFF.
The last time I made a bracer to activate the LEDs in my arm, it was a wire loop 4" (100mm) in diameter. It worked, but it was inelegant. I made a second version with a loop big enough to sit on the top of my forearm so it did not obstruct my arm. I cut the hoop on a CNC machine and formed it with a heat gun.
I bought a used badge printer, but it did not work when I tried printing. I spent three days learning and refurbishing it. During that time, I learned to make a custom rubber o-ring and to check for the correct voltage on used electronics.
I designed a circular mount for the inexpensive OLED panels. Instead of messing about with four 2-millimeter holes drilled in a perfect rectangle and trying to cover the electronics, this mount contains everything neatly and just needs a couple of holes made with a hand drill.
My first project using the circular OLED mount was a musical instrument I called the EWC_Noodle. Most of my musical projects relied on automation to generate pseudo-random notes, but this one allowed the player to decide. It was self-contained and perfect for playing lazily on the couch.
I made a Zener-style card set for my friend. The back was an AI-generated picture that seemed appropriate. The cards were three layers of PVC material, and the center had magnets inserted at specific angles so someone with an implanted magnet could identify a face-down card.
The Vibe Clock was a collaborative idea with my fiancee. We repeatedly watched TV until it was too late to work on projects, so she suggested a clock that demanded more attention by replacing the minute hand with lights. I built the first version with RGB LEDs hidden under a bezel. This was my first Wi-Fi device, which allowed display changes from any device on the same network.
