The sketch from yesterday was a good starting point. I used a hollow half-cylinder with rounded ends for the hull, but that is a representation of the hull, which was not the point of the first experiment. The first test was about magnetically-coupled propellers. I did not use real-world measurements for the first pass, but I approximated the size of small motors that might work. The tube running from the hull to the lower chamber was only intended to carry wires and connect the two portions. The central tube is where the backs of the motors will sit and where I can connect to them electrically. The half-pill sleeves will slide over the lower chamber to cover the motors and magnet wheels. The propellers will fit over them. I added the cutaway view for clarity.
