I cut the second design and added a couple of orthodontic elastics to the cleats. They looked like an innocuous keychain that a company would give away at a conference, so it should not draw unwanted attention while the tool remains hidden. To access the door jimmy, the user has to remove one of the elastics and swing the wooden halves out of the way, which is slow to deploy and possible to lose the rubber band. The biggest problem is that the elastic bands are prone to coming off in a pocket. I need to improve the cleats' design.
