I set the laser back up and resumed cutting. The earlier failures may have been due to the design complexity. When I cut single copies of the capsules or circles, it was not a problem. I switched to the simpler clock design and "GRINDFEST" copies. I cut a single column at a time rather than trying to fill the board. It took longer than I wanted, but I finished with enough for everyone. Many edge cuts did not successfully go all the way through, so they will need to be carved out later. I remember having the laser pass over the borders twice at a slightly lower power setting in the last run.
