I am taking another shot at building a laser tag system. This time, I have a couple of collaborators, so I expect an awesome finish. I jotted several pages of notes regarding things to discuss with the group and what I would build. The team consists of a programmer who wants to use a Raspberry Pi 0 W as the brains, a PCB designer with years of experience, and me, who will likely build the prototypes.
I wanted to start with the infrared focusing array and trigger since those have troubled me in the past. I have more experience with 3D printers and modeling so that I can build something smaller and more effective than last time.
