I washed and cured the REV 01 parts. The assembly went quickly, but the tube would not thread onto the LED holder due to the elephant effect from the printer. Even though I carved away some of the problematic resin, it still did not go perfectly. I added the lens, which fit securely. Even though the LED was not fully seated, the light beam was nicely collimated. When I shone the device at a wall, it kept clean lines on a circle. I was happy with the result.
The notes for the next model included creating mounting feet for the tube, a hexagonal spot on the LED holder to facilitate tightening, and reducing the thickness of some walls to require less plastic. I made the changes, but I needed to keep the rear mounting feet a bit off the edge so I could print the tube on that end while still eliminating the printer's elephant-footing effects.
