The wire running from the NERF gun to the chassis pipe was a last resort. External wires are prone to snagging, unplugging, and damage. One of the reasons they were so likely to get damaged was how far they stick out. I used a right-angle adapter to make the wire lie flush with the NERF chassis, but I needed a way to connect to the chassis pipe. I designed a piece that fits my headphone sockets and attaches to the chassis pipe. I spent extra time making the component rounded to reduce the likelihood of snagging and ensure it was sturdy. I was delighted with how refined the part looked. I printed two, and one failed. I should have designed it with the option to print a flat base so I could attach these to taggers in the future.
