2025-10-09 (Th) BonfireLaserTag Pipe tagger screen holder replacement

The first screen I attached to the pipe tagger was horribly outdated. The edges hung out, ready to snag on something and crack. The straps holding it to the pipe were flimsy and high-profile, making a snag more likely. I already designed and printed a screen holder that could fit onto a chassis pipe, so it was time to update my first tagger. I removed the old screen holder, but I had to crack the base to get the wires out without desoldering. Since it is outdated, I will not be repairing it. The new holder fits over the old holes and requires fewer bolts to hold the screen. I start a new print for an infrared receiver holder. While the print finished, I cut out the old receiver and installed three new ones that would fit into the square IR RX holes. I sealed up the latest hardware with five bolts and nuts, and then I palmed my forehead because I had forgotten to install the IR holder. After the print finished, I cured it and then removed all the new nuts and bolts. I reinstalled everything and powered up the tagger. The infrared receiver acted strangely, but it worked.
