2026-01-20 (Tu) BonfireLaserTag Wiring one tagger

I committed myself to wiring one tagger, and for the first time in a while, it went smoother than I expected. The schematic outlined all the terminations, which corresponded to the coordinates printed on the prototyping boards, so I could trim the wires and land them without fuss. With the perspective of everything, I realized that this level of construction would make the project unattainable for most people, so I started a list of what I would include in a PCB that would handle most of the circuitry and let people skip most of the soldering work. Aside from the infrared LED, I could make something with nearly the same functionality, but much less assembly work. I will complete these five taggers, troubleshoot them, and talk with the team about making a PCB for the next round.
