I hoped to finish troubleshooting in one day, but compound problems limited what I could do. Two of the taggers had faults in the ground line to the trigger and AUX button inputs, so I repaired the cold solder joints and got those working. I thought it would be quick to diagnose the infrared issues, but I could not find my IR tester, so it was impossible to see if any signal was coming out of the LEDs. The first tagger I tested was not receiving infrared signals, and it was not the only one. All the taggers were probably not transmitting infrared, since I could not get any of them to shoot another receiver. I found my IR detector so that I can confirm my suspicion, but I think the circuit is probably faulty. Hopefully, it will resolve easily.
