2026-04-30 (Th) Fisticuffs Big print

Printing a copy of The Bloom was more difficult than I expected. Cura, my slicing program, would hang up when I tried to generate the model with supports. My suspicion was that the model had too many details, and the software tried to apply supports to every nook and cranny. When I tried the software that slices for my resin printer, it worked effortlessly. The print took more than four hours, but the results were beautiful. The model was almost as big as my fist and looked incredible up close. The trickiest part was pulling off the plastic that supported the tendrils. I placed it on a rotating base and recorded a short video.
