2017-11-09 (Th) Charged: DesertIrish

If you're not familiar with this book, read this otherwise you'll just be reading spoilers below.

Dawson couldn't stay sleep but the rest of the house was out for the night so he checked emails and read some news. He found that his news provider had a Charged news tab. The first story was about a man who was losing a custody battle for his children because his ex-wife's lawyer accused him of being a bad influence to her kids because the man was in multiple videos where he was subjected to extreme punishment but his Charge kept him from any harm. (This is based on the real-life custody battle of Rich Lee, a grinder who had armor implanted into his shins as a proof-of-concept)

The second story Dawson read was about something which used to be in the To Do list when that was still a part of this journal. Dawson read about a man who was suing for the right to have a second identity for the purposes of helping people anonymously. The defense attorney turned the trial into a battle against vigilantism.
