2025-06-29 (Su) BonfireLaserTag Pipe mounting the emitter

I changed the way the wire ran from the switch to the internal cavity, and The handle and trigger models may be completed. I turned my attention to creating a rail-mounted version of the tagger, allowing me to connect it to an airsoft gun or a similar device. The most logical course was to use the same pipe as the handled tagger, but I would mount it onto an accessory rail without the extra parts, like a trigger.

The lens holder that I previously built will fit inside a 2" ABS pipe with room to spare, so I made room for a 12-light LED ring. The ring was mounted with four M2 bolts, so I made holes with nut receptacles on the underside and a flared front, which should fit perfectly over the end of the tube and fasten with four M3 bolts. I was worried that the bolts were too close to the edge and might not bite into the pipe, causing them to fall off.
