2025-07-31 (Th) BonfireLaserTag Soldering day 02

The second day of wiring went well. I did not have to spend time gathering parts, so I had plenty of energy to work. I started with the infrared emitter and then the LED ring. I drilled a hole in the lens cap to pass wires from the LED ring, which needed to be updated in the model.

I added a pair of wires to the auxiliary switch and the trigger. The gap around the internal block needed to be widened to accommodate the wires. I made all the conductors long enough to come out of the back of the tube so I can wire them to the controller. I may model a back plate to hold the controller and close the tube.
