I revised the battery chamber model to make space for a couple of brass couplers with copper wire fastened or soldered to them. They had vertical channels, allowing me to run their wires into the main chassis pipe. I expanded the battery chamber and threads to enable the cells to slide in easily.
I printed a copy, but the print failed, and it fell off the platen. This issue has happened several times lately. I tried to test the threads with a plug, but I broke the incomplete model because the surrounding plastic was so thin. I thickened the walls around the threads and tried another print. There was another failure, but this one was complete enough to hold a battery without it falling out. The threads matched up well, and the battery sat nicely. I cleaned the printer, replaced the resin, and relevelled the platen. The next print also failed.
