2025-09-11 (Th) BonfireLaserTag Builing two prototypes at once

It made more sense to convert two toy guns at once to maximize effort. I could build more, but I am still unsure about all the steps, and I am certain I will find ways to improve later iterations. One of the foam-dart guns had a large barrel, so I modified the IR emitting tube to change the hex portion that kept the threads off the printer platen to a circle that would fit into the gun's barrel. The print came out wonderfully, but I still need a way to secure it in place. My goal is to perform minimal modifications so the conversion units are as universal as possible. Perhaps this was misguided. I measured the components that go into the pipe and cut a couple of sections, but I realized too late that I would not have an emitter in the pictured tagger.
