I had trouble concentrating on the assembly steps that I outlined and detoured into making a screen holder that could mount to a chassis pipe. The code for the previous version worked by using hull() on four hemispherical-ended cylinders at the corners and hollowing out the rounded cube, but leaving the bottom open so I could connect it to any suitable floor. The floor was a pipe, so the bottom needed to mate with the chassis pipe. I did not have to worry about a floor that fit neatly on top, but I needed a way to secure the screen holder to the pipe. I added five stalks that were always perpendicular to the pipe's surface. Their outer dimension was the size of the largest M3 bolt head I had in stock. I wanted to use two bolts, one in front and one in back, but four will provide more stability and symmetry.
The print took two hours, and it came out perfectly. I am nervous about how difficult it may be to connect the nuts to the five bolts holding this down. If it is too much trouble, I may model another holder that will hold five nuts on the inside of the chassis pipe.
