I made a selection screen for the Hit Point Game, where players receive 20 hit points, and the last person with any remaining points is the winner. The color theme for this game was red. I created a const int with the maximum value and a variable to track the player's current health. The remote "Full HP" will restore health based on the constant instead of resetting it to 100, as it did before.
I copied the countdown code I used for the Golden Gun Game, changed the title from yellow to red, and updated the name. I copied the playing screen with the same changes, but I updated the "HP:" section to display a live value and update it regularly. The way I ran updates showed changes immediately, not just when an enemy hit the tagger, so refilling the hit points with the remote showed up right away.
I repositioned the screen counters with hard-coded coordinates that will carry over to different games, ensuring the format is similar and that nothing overlaps. There is a notifier at the bottom of the screen indicating which player hit them. I added a timer so that when someone gets shot, they cannot fire, but they cannot take any more damage, allowing them to hide or get out of danger. The firing rate for this game is more than one shot per second, much faster than the Golden Gun's two-second reload time.
