The first round of game programming is done! I will have to go back and fix bugs, but the system is functioning well enough to get some alpha testers playing.
I wrote the most challenging bit of code, the Timed Game. I saved this choice for last because it had the most features that I already programmed, plus a timer. The programming followed the same path as the previous games, where I adapted the useful code from where I could find it and fixed the wording. Timed Game was more like Go Nuts! than assumed. I used blue as the game's color theme. Once the Go Nuts! code ran stably, I added a timer to confirm that the game would end, and it did. The last step, and the most work, was adding a small countdown timer on the screen. I printed it in blue at the top and eliminated the "Timed Game" title, but it was intuitive since the timer changed every second.
